As an alternative to my usual monthly round up, I’ve put together ten moments that defined the month of May for me. Thank you to Amanda from Rhyme and Ribbons for the post inspiration.
1. My Four Year Wedding Anniversary 
The 18th of May marked four years since Mr S put a ring on it! We went for dinner at Galvin La Chapelle in the city, sadly I wasn’t blown away by the restaurant itself as it didn’t have the romantic environment that I was hoping for. Our trip to the Amalfi Coast was our main celebration so I didn’t let this spoil a special day.
2. Meghan and Harry got Married
Love was truly in the air this month as Prince Harry married the love of his life, Meghan Markle. I had people around to my flat to watch the wedding and toast the happy couple! Trust me there were plenty of tears on such a special occasion.
In the evening I was very lucky to have seat in a VIP box for the FA Cup Final, my second ever football game. I felt incredibly proud to be British on the 19th of May, I have to say!
3. A Trip to Champagne with Marks and Spencer
I was honoured to visit the homeland of my favourite bubbly with British icon Marks & Spencer. 
4. Charlie Turned 7!
My nephew Charlie turned 7 and had an emoji themed party! I can’t believe he’s growing up so fast. Here he is when he was just born!
(Oh and how far phone cameras have come since then!)
5. Tea at The Corinthia
I had a fab tea at the gorgeous Corinthia hotel!
6. The Chelsea Flower Show
I was thrilled to visit the Chelsea Flower Show as a guest of the Dorchester Hotel. 
7. Chelsea in Bloom
I loved visiting all the displays around Sloane Square and Beyond. 
8. I have a new hashtag!
I’m fed up of Instagram not showing my photos to my followers so I’ll be using the hashtag #SilverSpoonStories on all my photos. This way you can follow the hashtag as another way of finding me.
9. Amalfi Coast
I finally visited the Amalfi Coast staying in Positano at Il San Pietro Positano and Le Sirenuse. An absolute dream come true!
10. A Dear Friend
This month I had some sad news from a dear friend, many of you will also know her. I just wanted to mention her here and say we are all are thinking of her and her family and she has so much love and support from all of us. She is always positive in every situation including this one and I just wanted to include a link to her kindness project which went viral over night!
