Regular readers will know, I love the area of London that I live in. Victoria never used to be so exciting but it’s undergoing a huge transformation and now it is not only a centre for culture and history but also a hub for shopping and great restaurants.

Create Victoria, the marketing team behind the area, has launched Inside Out Victoria running from now until the 11th of October, a series of events including exclusive access to these fab new restaurants, hot spots and entertainment venues. One of the highlights is a restaurant hopping tour with London Restaurant Festival, a gastronomic journey around some of SW1’s brand new restaurants as well as old favourites.

Tours take place on the 7th, 10th and 11th of October and London Restaurant Festival Passport holders will be able to enjoy tapas at newly-opened Iberica, Venetian small plates at Tozi (I love this place, be sure to try the Prosecco too), Thai food at Mango Tree, seasonal flavours at Caxton Grill, the delicious food of Sophie Michell at Pont St (see my reviews here and here) and the fresh organic produce of the Daylesford Farm shop and cafe.
