I’m so happy that I started my blog just before I got married so I was able to document all the big occasions…
From the proposal to our engagement party, and right up to the moment when we chose our cake and later our wedding breakfast.
Leading up to the event, I loved telling you all about our pre-wedding photo shoot….even though I found it a little cringeworthy.
Next came the excitement of my hen do in two parts…the thrill of a night out at Roof Gardens, followed by a chilled out evening in the country.
When the big day finally arrived I was able to document the morning getting ready, the wedding ceremony in St Petersburgh Place and the reception at The Dorchester. It’s so wonderful to have a record of everything to look back on.
That really is the wonderful thing about having a blog. All your special memories are in one place to revisit again and again and for you to share with your family and friends.
Since the wedding and in the past year we’ve had so much fun with other friends’ wedding, UK staycations and fantastic dinners in London. We had a incredible honeymoon, some wonderful mini breaks and a life-changing trip to South Africa. It really was a fantastic year and here’s to the next one…
