One Lovely Blog Award

Thank you to tea and toast loving Antipodean, Emma from Adventures of a London Kiwi for nominating me for The One Lovely Blog Award. Emma’s blog never fails to make me laugh and smile, warm my heart and sometimes make me feel very hungry! The One Lovely Blog Award is given by fellow bloggers in order to promote new blogs and highlight ‘lovely’ ones.
And here are the rules:
1. Thank the blogger that nominated you.
2. Add the One Lovely Blog Award logo to your blog.
3. Share seven facts about yourself.
4. Nominate some other ‘lovely’ blogs to receive the award.
Soooo….here are some fun facts about me:
1. I am Jewish, though not religious and non-kosher food often makes an appearance on my blog.
2. I am not a big meat eater, though far from being vegetarian, I just prefer fish to a juicy steak or leg of lamb.
3. I’m more than a little bit obsessed with food…sushi being my favourite thing ever!!
4. I’m left-handed, though both my parents are righties.
5. I’m one of the shortest people I know and I find it difficult to get clothes to fit and never wear trousers. I don’t even own a pair of jeans…though I own many, many pairs of high heels…
6. I studied English Literature at University and I’m a huge bookworm, though now I read more chick-lit than classics.
7. I failed my driving test five times and passed the sixth…but now I haven’t driven in about eight years…all that hard work for nothing 😉
When I do start driving again, I doubt it’ll be one these!!
And who to nominate? I’ve met so many wonderful bloggers in the last year who have become ‘lovely’ friends to me. With so much loveliness around me it’s really hard to choose! So with that in mind, and with an attempt at diplomacy, I’ve decided to choose bloggers who’s blogs I love but I have not yet had to chance to meet the person behind the blog.
A lady who shares my love of footwear, luxury hotels and afternoon tea (just make sure it’s gluten-free)
Zoe – Love and Limoncello
A blog that you can rely on for fashion, fine-dining and fun. Zoe recently went to Paris for the day just because she could, that’s my kind of girl.
It’s all about luxury, dahling!!
Though I’ve never been to Newcastle, Chloe’s evocative descriptions make me feel like I have.
Zoe – The Z Factor
Though I’ve never met Zoe, I feel like I have and her observational humour always makes me laugh. I love the way her boyfriend proposed to her and I can’t wait to hear more as she plans her wedding.
