Today marks three years since I started my blog and I could not be prouder of how much it’s grown. Opening an account on blogger and writing up some of my favourite travel tales was one of the best things that I ever did; what started as a hobby, writing for myself soon grown so that I met some incredible friends, visited amazing places and had fantastic once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
A huge thank you to my loyal readers for sticking with me and following my adventures and life stories throughout the past three years. With such a major blogging milestone I wanted to thank all my lovely readers for all your support and launch my biggest competition yet!
The opportunity to win a one night stay at one of my all time favourite hotels, Coworth Park in Ascot. The hotel is part of the Dorchester Collection, a group of hotels that will always be special to me having got married at The Dorchester in London and enjoying special stays at their other hotels such as Beverley Hills Hotel on our honeymoon.
Only around 45 minutes from London and on the borders of Windsor, Coworth Park is the Dorchester Collection’s UK country estate.

While the interior of the rooms and public areas celebrate the beauty of nature with organic-themed artwork and relaxing muted tones. There are two main restaurants on the hotel’s grounds, The Barn serves a rustic menu with locally sourced ingredients, perfect if it’s comfort food that you’re after. But we absolutely loved the elegant dining room at Restaurant Coworth Park which serves a fantastic menu of modern British food.
The hotel has just appointed Chef Adam Smith, who is considered one of the UK’s most talented chefs under 30 having been awarded Observer Food Monthly Young Chef of the Year and winning the Roux Scholarship in 2012. The young chef who has worked under John Williams at The Ritz and Yannick Alleno at Le Meurice will oversee the kitchen of both restaurants as well as the Bar, Spatisserie and in-room dining.
There is lots to do at the hotel such as croquet, tennis and horse riding, even the opportunity to take polo lessons! Or you can spend all day relaxing at the spa and enjoy a champagne afternoon tea at The Spatisserie.
